Washington, D.C., resident Jason Fitzgerald Korb, J.D., has spent the past several years developing his legal experience to prepare for the launch of his career as an attorney. Korb earned his Bachelore’s at Boston University School of Management, with dual concentrations in Finance and Entrepreneurship. He graduated with a cum laude distinction in 2003 and worked for several years as a real estate agent in Denver, Colorade, before deciding to trade his business career for a legal one. He promptly enrolled at the University of Minnesota and in 2010 received his Juris Doctor. Jason Fitzgerald Korb has passed the bar in both Massachusetts and Maryland, with his bar licensure in the District of Columbia pending as of autumn 2012.
Since he qualified as an attorney, Korb has assisted in several different law offices, most recently completing a one-year clerkship at the Argus Technical Services Corporate Attorney’s Office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This involved providing assistance in a variety of judicial hearings and discrimination settlement negotiations. Korb helped to develop corporate employee policies. He also provided research into new corporate legal obligations, such as firearms laws, the Affordable Care Act, and overtime exemption changes. He has also worked as either an intern or a clerk for legal offices such as the American Civil Liberties Union, the Minnesota Department of Human Rights, and the Attorney’s Offices of the Cities of Bloomington, Minneapolis, and Denver, Minnesota.
When he isn’t busy applying himself to his growing legal career, Jason Fitzgerald Korb enjoys a variety of physical activities such as mountain climbing, weightlifting, biking, and playing in a kickball league. Jason Fitzgerald Korb also enjoys quiet activities such as reading and writing.
